ORDEN OGAN Seeb Levermann metal interview about 'Final Days'

Tuesday, April 20, 2021, in Albums, Vidéo, Podcast

ORDEN OGAN Seeb Levermann was the guest of ZanZanA Live Stream Metal Interviews hosted by Karim Benamor on tuesday March 2d .

We spoke about "Final Days", that will be released on March 12, 2021, via AFM Records

▬ About Orden Ogan ▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬

Since the band’s latest release, the superb „Gunmen“, ORDEN OGAN have been at the forefront of power metal. Now, after a few delays, the new album „Final Days“ was finally released on March 12th, 2021.

The album, once again produced by band leader Sebastian “Seeb” Levermann, is a real smasher and shows that the German group is among the best songwriters in heavy metal. „Final Days“ combines finesse with huge riffs, clever arrangements with great melodies and even after the umpteenth spin you still discover something new. All of this is wrapped in a larger-than-life production so what more can one ask for?

Orden Ogan have managed to keep their trademarks but also integrated new influences into the sound, which make “Final Days” an extremely exciting album of highest quality.

"Final Days" was  released worldwide on March 12th, 2021 via AFM Records and comes along with a “luxury problem“, the bar for future releases (both by Orden Ogan and in the melodic metal scene in general) is now incredibly high.

NAWATHER, l'interview metal pour présenter 'Kenz Illusion' (interview

Tuesday, April 20, 2021, in Albums, Vidéo, Podcast

Tuesday, April 20, 2021

Petri Lindroos, Vocals / Guitar of folk-inspired melodic death metal ENSIFERUM, was the guest of ZanZanA Live Stream Metal Interview hosted by Karim Benamor on thursday February 25th .

We spoke about "Thalassic", that was released on October 10th, 2021, via Metal Blade Records

▬ About ENSIFERUM ▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬

Ensiferum are a true powerhouse when it comes to folk-inspired melodic death metal, something they hammer home more resolutely than ever with eighth full-length Thalassic. The title translating from ancient Greek as “of or relating to seas”, it’s a suitably huge and wide-ranging collection that incorporates orchestrations and traditional folk instrumentation alongside the roaring guitars, bass, and drums. “I think we managed to take another step ahead musically and we also utilized the best parts of our old sound,” states bassist/vocalist Sami Hinkka. “There are lots of Ensiferum’s trademarks: beautiful folkish melodies, ass-kicking riffs, a nice mix of different vocals and great singalong choruses.“

Thalissic songs :
1. Seafarer's Dream
2. Rum, Women, Victory
3. Andromeda
4. The Defence of the Sampo
5. Run from the Crushing Tide
6. For Sirens
7. One with the Sea
8. Midsummer Magic
9. Cold Northland (Väinämöinen Part III)

MOONSPELL : Pedro Paixão metal interview about 'Hermitage' new album

Monday, April 19, 2021

Pedro Paixão, who plays keyboards and guitars with MOONSPELL, was the guest of ZanZanA Live Stream Interview hosted by Karim Benamor on tuesday February 23th at 8:30 PM CET (gmt+1).

We spoke about "Hermitage", 13th studio album of MOONSPELL, that will be released on February 26th, 2021, via Napalm Records

► Streaming links on various audio and video platforms : lnkfi.re/Moonspell

▬ About Moonspell and "Hermitage" ▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬

MOONSPELL is approaching their 30th anniversary as a band more ambitiously and stronger than ever. Hermitage – the gothic metal pioneers‘13th studio album – was recorded, mixed and mastered by Jaime Gomez Arellano (Paradise Lost, Primordial, Ghost, Sólstafir & many more) at the Orgone Studios in the UK. Building upon the album’s dark, revolutionary and sensitive facets, it’s an entertaining yet epic journey through the darkest days of human existence. Beautifully crafted tracks such as “The Greater Good“ show us the modernity of the wolves in 2021, while “Common Prayers“ embraces the MOONSPELL tradition of writing a dark, gothic metal song like no other band can. “All Or Nothing“ brings back the ethereal and melodic sounds of MOONSPELL, served by a beautiful musical landscape, making it most likely one of the deepest and most sincerely heart-breaking tunes the Portuguese dark metal titans have ever written. But of course, they don‘t stray away from their metal roots, especially influenced by underground metal bands like Bathory on tracks like the bombastic and epic metal anthem “Hermit Saints“!

Hermitage is a revolutionary, wonderfully intuitive and epic journey by one of the most distinctive dark metal bands of all time, and a testament to what they’ve always loved the most: Honest, emotional metal that binds us even in the darkest times.

“We know that we are entering the final years of our career as musicians: the winter of our lifetime.” Lead singer Fernando Ribeiro reveals. “We don’t care about people saying we’re still young at heart, or “leading” wolves in a pack. We are not! But we do care about how those around us feel about us, and this album is all about how we feel, our answers to your questions.

Under these circumstances, we feel our musical stakes are higher than ever. For us, it’s not about likes or algorithms, reach, or opportunity of growth. We only care about the music. Music does come first on this album you will hold in your hands soon enough. The record is called Hermitage and it’s about turning our backs to the conventions of modernity. We are currently convincing ourselves that it’s all about us, that we (humanity) are everything. That the world revolves around us. However, ipsi facto, we are nothing and nothing revolves around us. Moonspell’s goal, on these last turns around the Sun, are to write the best music we possibly can. To tell you a few stories with our lyrics, to be close to you in these times of distancing. We wish not to tease you or to influence you or to sell you our fish. We want to sit down with you at your table and feast together upon our notes and words. Like if we were close friends, like back in the time where music matters the most. In your bedroom listening to music, without having to post our smart remarks about it, inviting the hate in.

Hermitage is an open-hearted invitation to simplicity. To be humble. To be thankful. To serve you solace. Provide you comfort, entertainment. We sincerely hope this call reaches you. That you kindly accept what we offer. That you take our music with you to the place you must feel as yours. To your secret place, to your hermitage. Blessed be.“

BOKASSA Reveal New Single : So Long, Idiots !

Sunday, April 11, 2021

BOKASSA is one of Norway's most exciting up-and-coming exports when it comes to hard-hitting, groovy and catchy rock music. With millions of streams on their last full-length album, Crimson Riders, as well as supporting tours with METALLICA, BOKASSA is ready to take on the next chapter of their already buzzing story!

On the new single "So Long, Idiots!", BOKASSA comes through with a tight, dense rock banger, displaying the band's undeniable energy while seamlessly transitioning into melodic choruses and tasteful guitar solos. BOKASSA is a serious rock'n'roll powerhouse to be reckoned with in 2021!

Singer/Guitarist Jørn Kaarstad on the new single: "We are beyond excited to finally release 'So Long, Idiots!' to the world! A hook ridden rock anthem that's made for singing along to live! We, as all bands, are eagerly awaiting to play live again and can't wait to play this one on tour in September."

The Norwegian Grammy-nominated band has gripped major attention by fusing polished punk, hardcore and metal riffage, stoner rock grooves and hooky lyricism – forming their own self-proclaimed brand of gritty stoner punk. Upon release, their 2017 debut Divide & Conquer was urgently hailed by critics all over the world and placed prominently on several "Best Of" lists. In 2019, the band set a massive milestone when they were handpicked by Lars Ulrich to support METALLICA alongside GHOST on their summer stadium tour across Europe, the UK and Russia. The legendary drummer hailed them as "his favorite new band" and described them as "Insanely fu**ing cool" after hearing the first album.

BOKASSA is currently finishing up their upcoming full-length album, set to release in 2021 via Napalm Records!
