DIAMOND DOGS –Sweden’s rock n’ roll merchants, always on the road around Spain, Germany, UK or in a town close to you. Founded in the early 90-ties by the singer and front man SULO and his childhood friend guitarist (Yes, that is correct) BOBBY LEE FETT, later keyboard player in THE HELLACOPTERS.
Diamond Dogs line up have constantly changed over the years, around the core of Sulo and The Duke of Honk. On Black River Road the band features ROBERT “Strings” DAHLQVIST from The Hellacopters and introduces new member JOHAN JOHANSSON from KSMB and Strindbergs.
BLACK RIVER ROAD is named after Svartbäcksvägen, the street in small town Katrineholm where Bobby Lee Fett grew up, and where a little piece of rock n’ roll history began.
This album is a 12-track rock n’ roll machine in a traditional Diamond Dogs style with guest appearances and songwriting collaborations by NICKE ANDERSSON (The Hellacopters) and MATTIAS BÄRJED (The Soundtrack Of Our Lives) and last but not least RANDY BACHMAN (Bachman Turner Overdrive).
