The Swedish Punk / Rock / Pop band ATTA started in february 2007 with
the goal to play happy, funny and catchy pop-punk. After their first
4-track demo was released they got enough attention on Myspace to get
out to venues and play live as much as they could. In 2008 they had 25
gigs, some of them were quite big. As a result of all this, their debut
album “I just love to say I called you” was released on Toypie Records.
On CD ATTA delivers the same energic and raw, but at the same time happy and catchy feeling as they do live. A good 2009 is forecasted for ATTA as one of the bands in the new skate/pop- punkwave that sweeps the globe. ATTA’s strenght is their sing- along choruses, and lyrics with tons of humor. The songs Access denied and Karaoke night has worked very well on the audience, and are probably the two strongest songs on the album. But also Sunshine, Sneak a peek and Pretty little notes has got great potential. The marketing of ATTA has so far been to get noticed in magazines, in everything from local Swedish newspapers to bigger magazines like Close-up Magazine, Groove and Edge Magazine just to mention a few.
