Ce groupe finlandais a été formé en 1995 par Jari Mäenpää : Chant, Guitare (actuellement WINTERSUN) ,qui quitta le groupe une année après pour laissé place a Petri Lindroos (chant, guitare : Norther)...
Leur style se qualifie de folk viking death,un sous genre de death mélodique riche en mélodie et en folklore...le groupe entame cette année une tournée mondiale (dont Waken 2008)
ce groupe est a écouté absolument!  leur discographie : 1997: Demo 97

Un groupe que j'adore tout simplement... On sent du vrai 'viking' dans leur musique quoi... sans oublier les grandes influences folk/death... tout ça donne un mélange hors norme, c'est ce qui fait de leur musique une musique si sublime et unique en son genre (même s'il y a des tonnes d'autres groupes qui jouent le même style etc...)
