2 pages et personne n'a parlé de la présence en scène vraiment éblouissante de ce groupe,les guerriers viking ' The Hirdman' qui se battent pendant que Johan chante,les effets pyrotechniques,le mouvement de tous les membres du groupes,Johan qui met le feu au public...en plus de la musique épique à la mélodie légendaire,ce groupe est l'un des meilleurs groupes de Death melodique.

Bein en fait, c'est "With Oden On Our Side", avec un E.
 
Je sais bien que Odin s'écrit avec un I normalement, mais là nos amis vikings l'ont écrit avec un E, ce qui semble être l'orthographe suédoise du nom (d'après wikipédia).
 
Bon, j'entends edhen el moghrob... chahia tayba !

Tres tres bon album de Amon Amarth, j'ai absolument adoré tout le travail mélodique: le groupe reste fidele a sa marque de fabrique, avec quelques petits trucs en plus, qui n'ont fait qu'embellir la musique.
Je préfere biensur certains titres a d'autres, mon favori étant Live for the kill. La partie violon assurée par Apocalyptica est absolument magnifique. J'ai également adoré Varyags of Miklagaard et l'éponyme Twilight of the Thunder God nous permet d'apprécier l'album des les premieres secondes. Mais il y'a parfois des ressemblances ressenties avec d'autres titres des précédents albums. Dommage que la durée totale de l'album ne dépasse pas les 50 minutes, peut etre un des rares défauts que je constate au premieres écoutes.

je n'aime pas dutout ce groupe...je trouve que leur music ne dégage pas bocoup d'émotions...pour du viking death métal je les trouve très décevant...je préfère de loin THALAMYUS qui font du vrai viking death

Aujourd'hui, Amon Amarth entrent en studio pour commencer a enregistrer leur nouvel album. Il y a pour l'instant 10 morceaux, et les membres du groupe pensent que cet album sera leur meilleur. Jens Bogren produira cet album (il avait déjà produit With Odin On Our Side). L'enregistrement devrait durer un mois et demi.
