Even before joining Masterplan in 2002, Jorn Lande was an internationally acclaimed singer fronting bands and projects like Ark, The Snakes, Millenium and Vagabond. His second solo album “Worldchanger” had already been released to critical acclaim in 2001 but whilst busy with Masterplan he not only managed to release another great solo album in “Out To Every Nation” (in 2004), but also work with internationally renowned musicians such as Ken Hensley, Ralf Santolla and Roni Le Tekro on albums such as “The Duke”, “Lonely Are The Brave” and his latest album “Spirit Black”, which was released in June 2009.
Staying true to himself and his fans has always been very important for Lande and the quality of his music has become internationally recognised because of it. Following his musical vision without compromise has made Jorn Lande an international star who personifies integrity and phenomenal natural talent. Often called “The New Hard Rock Singer Of His Generation” and by some, “The New Coverdale”, Lande understands that it is only through hard work and dedication to his craft that a vocalist can maintain his constant high-class releases. Yes, people call him not just a great singer that hails to his influences (to the ‘gods’ of Rock like Dio, Whitesnake or Deep Purple), but they also see him as a big influence on the next generation of singers and musicians in general, so maintaining his integrity and purpose is paramount.
 
Today everybody recognises Jorn Lande as one of those giants of Rock! A perfect combination of personality, unmistakable voice and solid songwriting skills.
