Hello all bands/musicians and the sorts of! Here’s our official statement on signing with Kampas Rec., promo packages, demos etc. in two (2) parts: 1. 2009- release and 2. 2008 release. If you want to sign with Kampas Records for a release in 2009 or later read this: Kampas Records will begin to plan our 2009 release program in late June this year. We have an ambitious plan to listen to all the master’s/demo’s/promo’s we’ve received till late August and pick the best one’s to begin negotiations of a release with. Our own bands are on this "basket" too and they have a cut to the first places of the line so you better have good material. We have not yet decided how many releases we’ll have on 2009 but the goal is to have at least 5. Advices: -send us your master/promo/demo between now and the last day of August 2008 -have rock and/or metal in your music -be innovative with your music, if you sound like "all the others" in your genre, it’s not very likely that we contact you. no matter how well you play. -have a good promo package, do something special = differ from the masses (most send a cd and promo sheet or two in regular letter) -don’t panic (some people send us a couple of emails a day asking the "are we there yet?" kind of questions) -don’t whine about things if you didn’t get picked, do better next time or try other labels If you want to sign with Kampas Records for a release in 2008 read this: If we are not negotiating with you already or have a contract with you already, we are not going to release anything from your band in 2008. If 2009 release sounds good to you, please read above. Kamaps Records et Metal Waves sont en partenariat alors je peux vous faciliter la tache
